Il Colonato - Kettal
In this project Mario Bellini was inspired by an elementary and basic architectural structure. His design emulates the colonnades of classical architecture where a sequence of columns supports a portico, which in this case is a tabletop.
The base is a volume that is visually closed, but materially open. If the point of view is changed, the perception changes completely since the columns do not overlap each other and the space remains empty.
