How to make a lamp transmit the lightness of a ribbon that rotates in an endless spiral? The Piola collection tries precisely to imitate this fluidity of infinite movement, which floats around light, in search of a balance between the diffusion of light and the creation of shadows.

A central axis formed by a metal tube holds more than 5 meters of spiral laminated tape that surrounds the light, protects it and filters it to generate warm lighting.

Several types of light coexist in the Piola: direct downward light, indirect light due to reflection, and light that filters through the tape that illuminates the object itself. The spiral shape of the screen breaks the monotony of the object, which changes depending on the point of view from which it is viewed. The central tube transfers symmetry and solidity that contrasts with the volatile and variable screen.
